LORETO APRUTINO
ABRUZZO
Abruzzo, one of Italy's unblemished treasures is a serene mingling of mountains, hills and coastline, sparsely populated and unscathed by mass tourism. Yet there’s so much to tell, so much to see, so much to feel, just not enough hours in the day. It’s worth writing home about.
LORETO APRUTINO
Loreto Aprutino, an imposing and historical medieval town stands prominently at the top of a knoll in the Tavo River Valley, situated in the heart of the DOP(Donominazione di Origine Protetta) area of Abruzzo known as Aprunito Pescarese.
Producing the finest Extra Virgin Olive Oil, it was the first olive growing area in Italy to have been granted DOP recognition by the EU.
SORALINA
Formally an abandoned 3.5 hectare olive grove and now in the process of being revived, SORALINA will be producing its own organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and also offer luxury accommodation on the working farm.
Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil will only be available directly and through select outlets.
Our picturesque rural surroundings may give the impression of our location being rather remote.....
yet we are just 1km away from Piazza Garibaldi in Loreto Aprutino.
We look forward to welcoming you in the near future.

Please bear with us while we construct our full website and refurbish "our place in the sun" but feel free to contact us atnumerouno@soralina.comshould your need any additional infomation on our EVOO or accommodation. We'll do our best for you. UPDATE: The renovations commenced in February 2007 and will take over a year to complete. We hope to be 'up and running' by the time Summer 2008 arrives. ANOTHER UPDATE...Jun 2009: The laid-back way of doing things in Italy has finally caught up with us. Yes, you've guessed it right... the renovations will take a few more months to complete. We've resigned ourselves to the fact that it may take even longer. Perhaps Summer 2010, we're keeping everything crossed.....
